GA29-30:89 – tonalidade fundamental do filosofar

A tarefa fundamental consiste presentemente no despertar de uma tonalidade fundamental de nosso filosofar. Digo intencionalmente: de nosso filosofar, não de um qualquer filosofar ou mesmo da filosofia em si, o que não há jamais. Trata-se de despertar uma tonalidade fundamental que deve portar nossa filosofia, e não a tonalidade fundamental. Portanto, não há apenas uma, mas várias. De qual se trata para nós? De onde devemos tomar uma tal tonalidade? Estamos diante uma escolha, aquela da tonalidade fundamental que temos a despertar aqui. Mas não estamos somente diante desta escolha. Estamos também diante da questão ainda mais difícil de saber sobre qual caminho devemos portanto despertar tal ou tal tonalidade fundamental do nosso filosofar.

A tarefa fundamental consiste agora no despertar de uma tonalidade afetiva fundamental de nosso filosofar. Digo intencionalmente: de nosso filosofar, não de um filosofar qualquer ou mesmo do filosofar em si – um filosofar que jamais existe. Vale despertar uma tonalidade afetiva fundamental, que nosso filosofar deve assumir; não a tonalidade afetiva fundamental. Por conseguinte, não há apenas uma única, mas diversas tonalidades afetivas fundamentais. Para nós, que tonalidades afetivas estão em jogo? Desde onde devemos tomar uma tal tonalidade afetiva? Nós nos encontramos diante de uma escolha: que tonalidades afetivas fundamentais temos de despertar aqui? Mas não nos encontramos apenas diante desta escolha, mas também diante de uma pergunta ainda mais difícil: por sobre que caminho temos de despertar afinal esta ou aquela tonalidade afetiva fundamental de nosso filosofar? La tâche fondamentale consiste à présent dans l’éveil d’une tonalité fondamentale de notre philosopher. Je dis intentionnellement : de notre philosopher, non d’un quelconque philosopher ni même de la philosophie   en soi, ce qu’il n’y a jamais. Il s’agit d’éveiller une tonalité fondamentale qui doit porter notre philosopher, et non pas la tonalité fondamentale. Il n’y en a donc pas simplement qu’une seule, mais plusieurs. De laquelle s’agit-il pour nous? D’où devons-nous prendre une pareille tonalité? Nous sommes devant un choix, celui de la tonalité fondamentale que nous avons à éveiller ici. Mais nous ne sommes pas seulement devant ce choix. Nous sommes aussi devant la question, encore beaucoup plus difficile, de savoir sur quel chemin nous avons donc à éveiller telle ou telle tonalité fondamentale de notre philosopher.

Our fundamental task now consists in awakening a fundamental attunement in our philosophizing. I deliberately say: in our philosophizing, not   in some arbitrary philosophizing nor even in philosophy in itself, for there is no such thing. It is a matter of awakening a fundamental attunement which is to sustain our philosophizing, and not the fundamental attunement. Accordingly, there is not merely one single attunement, but several. Which one concerns us? From where are we to derive such an attunement? We are faced with a choice concerning which fundamental attunement to awaken here. Yet we are faced not only with this choice, but also with the much more difficult question of the path upon which we are to awaken this or that fundamental attunement in our philosophizing. Die Grundaufgabe besteht jetzt   in der Weckung   einer Grundstimmung   unseres Philosophierens. Ich   sage mit Absicht: unseres Philosophierens, nicht   eines beliebigen Philosophierens oder gar der Philosophie an sich  , die es nie gibt. Eine Grundstimmung, die unser Philosophieren tragen soll, gilt es zu wecken, und nicht die Grundstimmung. Demnach gibt es nicht nur eine einzige, sondern mehrere. Um welche handelt es sich für uns? Woher   sollen   wir eine solche Stimmung nehmen  ? Wir stehen   vor einer Wahl  , welche Grundstimmung wir hier zu wecken haben  . Aber wir stehen nicht nur vor dieser Wahl, sondern vor der noch viel schwierigeren Frage  , auf   welchem Wege wir denn diese oder jene Grundstimmung unseres Philosophierens zu wecken haben.
