To admit that “accident” (Zufall) and “fate” (Schicksal) co-determine historical events (Geschichte) proves all the more the exclusive domination of thinking in terms of causality (kausalen Denkens), insofar as “accident” and “fate” merely represent the imprecise and not unequivocally calculable cause-effect relations (Ursache-Wirkungs-Beziehungen).
