Ent-setzung, setting-free, des-locamento, dé-portement, se-paración

Setting-free (Ent-setzung) consists in the en-ownment (Er-eignung) of Dasein in such a way that en-ownment withdraws in the t/here (Da) (in the ab-ground (Ab-grund) of the unprotected and unsupported (Ungestützten und Ungeschützten)) which is thus lit up. Setting-free and withdrawal (Entzug) belong to be-ing as enowning (Ereignis). Thus nothing occurs within the sphere of beings. Be-ing remains nonappearing; but with a being as such it can happen that it moves into the clearing (Lichtung) of what is non-ordinary (Un-gewöhnlichen), casts away its ordinariness (Gewöhnlichkeit), and has to put itself up for decision (Ent-scheidung) as to how it suffices for be-ing. But this does not mean how a being would approximate and correspond to be-ing but rather how a being preserves and loses the truth of the essential swaying of be-ing (Wahrheit der Wesung des Seyns) – and therein comes into what is its ownmost (Wesen), which consists in such preserving (Verwahrung). But the fundamental forms of this preserving are disclosure (Aufschluß) of a wholeness (Gänze) of worlding (Weltens) (world) and the self-closure (Sichverschließen) vis-à-vis every projecting-opening (Entwurf) (earth). These fundamental forms first allow the preserving to arise and are themselves strifing, a strifing which holds sway from within the intimacy of the enownment of enowning (Innigkeit der Ereignung des Ereignisses). In each case on each side of this strifing is that which we metaphysically know as the sensible and the supersensible (Sinnliche und Unsinnliche). (GA65EM:339-340)
