Que a morte seja projetada no nexo essencial da futuridade originária do ser-aí em sua essência ontológico-fundamental significa, porém, de início, no quadro da tarefa de Ser e tempo, que ela se encontra em uma conexão com o “tempo”, que é estabelecido como âmbito projetivo da própria verdade do seer. Já isso é um aceno suficientemente claro para aquele que quer participar concomitantemente do questionamento de que aqui a questão acerca da morte se encontra em uma ligação essencial com a verdade do seer e apenas nessa ligação; de que, por isso, a morte enquanto a negação do seer ou mesmo enquanto o “nada” nunca é tomada aqui como a essência do seer, mas exatamente o contrário: a morte é a testemunha mais elevada e mais extrema do seer. Mas esse testemunho nunca tem como ser sabido senão por aquele que consegue experimentar e fundar concomitantemente o ser-aí na propriedade do ser-si-mesmo, que não é visado em termos morais e pessoais, mas sempre uma vez mais apenas de modo “ontológico-fundamental”. Que la muerte sea proyectada en el contexto esencial de la originaria futuridad del ser ahí en su esencia fundamentalontológica significa, por (232) [GA65:285] cierto, en primer lugar, en el marco de la tarea de Ser y tiempo: ella se encuentra en conexión con el “tiempo”, que está planteado como ámbito de proyección de la verdad del ser (Seyn) mismo. That death is projected-open —in what is fundamental-ontologically ownmost to Dasein, within the essential context of the originary futur-ality of Dasein —means initially, in the confines of the task of Being and Time, that death is connected to "time," which is established as the domain of projecting-open the truth of be-ing itself. Daß der Tod in dem wesentlichen Zusammenhang der ursprünglichen Zukünftigkeit des Daseins in seinem fundamentalontologischen Wesen entworfen ist, heißt doch Zunächst im Rahmen der Aufgabe von »Sein und Zeit«: er steht im Zusammenhang mit der »Zeit«, die als Entwurfsbereich der Wahrheit des Seyns Selbst angesetzt ist. Schon dieses ist ein Fingerzeig, deutlich genug für den, der mitfragen will, daß Hier die Frage nach dem Tod im wesentlichen Bezug steht zur Wahrheit des Seyns und nur in diesem Bezug; daß daher hier Nicht und niemals der Tod als die Verneinung des Seyns oder gar der Tod als »Nichts« für das Wesen des Seyns genommen wird, sondern im genauen Gegenteil: der Tod das höchste und äußerste Zeugnis des Seyns. Aber dieses ist nur zu Wissen für den, der das Da-Sein zu erfahren und mitzugründen vermag in der Eigentlichkeit des Selbstseins, die nidit moralisch-persönlich, sondern immer wieder und nur »Fundamentalontologisch« gemeint ist.
