4. Esse [[f>t:theoria|θεωρεῖν]] (essa contemplação teórica) da [[f>s:sophia|σοφία]] (sabedoria) é aquela [[f>e:energeia|ἐνέργεια]] (presença em ato) que é ἡδίστη (prazerosa – a2). Aristóteles fundamenta essa posição da seguinte maneira: (...) (Além disso, a opinião comum nos diz que a felicidade precisa estar associada com o prazer – a22ss.). Nós achamos que uma disposição correspondente, a [[f>h:hedone|ἡδονή]] (o prazer), o alegrar-se, está misturada com o ser propriamente dito. Em geral, é constitutivo do ser de um vivente o ser-afinado-de-tal-e-tal-modo em relação àquilo com o que e para o que o vivente é. Essa constituição fundamental, que pertence à vida, não pode faltar no nível mais elevado de um vivente. Trata-se da questão de saber que tipo de ser confere a mais pura ἡδονή (o mais puro prazer), (...) (Ora, entre todas as atividades consonantes com a virtude, a atividade voltada para a sabedoria é assumidamente a mais rica em prazer e a mais venturosa – a23ss.). Há consonância em relação à concepção segundo a qual também corresponde ao estar presente junto ao ente κατά τήν σοφίαν, de acordo com a pura contemplação, a mais pura alegria. Esse puro manter-se-junto-a, o puro estar-presente-junto-a, é em si o mais puro estar afinado no sentido mais amplo do termo. A pureza e a firmeza desse ser-afinado característico da pura contemplação só se torna compreensível, por sua vez, a partir do tema, a partir daquilo que é sempre. O ser sempre não tem de modo algum a possibilidade de (199) trazer consigo uma perturbação, uma transformação, uma confusão para o comportar-se do homem como aquele que investiga, ou seja, não tem de modo algum a possibilidade de destruir a sua tonalidade afetiva desde a raiz. O homem permanece, na medida em que se mantém junto à coisa, na mesma tonalidade afetiva. Por isso, no manter-se-junto-ao-que-é-sempre, há a possibilidade da διαγωγή, da pura estada que não tem mais a inquietude da busca. Para os gregos, o buscar aponta para o desencobrimento do velado, do λανθάνον. O buscar é o ainda-não-se-encontrar-diante-do-ser-desvelado, enquanto a pura estada do ser sapiente, do ver, do ter-em-vista, implica o manter-se junto ao ente em seu desvelamento. Por isso, Aristóteles pode dizer dos antigos, na medida em que eles eram filósofos autênticos, o seguinte: (...) (Metafísica l, 3; 983b2ss.), “eles filosofavam sobre a verdade”, ou seja, não: eles filosofavam sobre o conceito de verdade e coisas do gênero, mas: eles eram amigos, eles se decidiram pelo puro desencobrimento do ser em seu caráter desvelado. 4.) This θεωρεῖν of σοφία is that ἐνέργεια which is ἡδίστη (a2). Aristotle justifies this assertion in the following way: (...) (a22f.). We believe that in the most proper Being of Man there is also mixed a corresponding humor, an affective disposition, namely ἡδονή, enjoyment. It is in general constitutive of the Being of a living being to be disposed in this or that way in relation to that with which and for which the living being exists. This basic constitution, which belongs to life, may Not be lacking on the highest level of Being of a living being. The question is which mode of Being confers the purest ἡδονή. (...) (a23f.). Everyone agrees that the purest joy comes from being present to beings κατά τήν σοφίαν, i.e., from pure onlooking. This pure abiding-with, pure presence-to, is in itself the purest disposition in the broadest sense. The purity and stability of this disposition belonging to pure onlooking is again understandable only on the basis of what is thematic in the onlooking, namely what always is. It is not in the least possible for what is everlasting to admit a disturbance, a change, or a confusion in the self-comportment of man as a researcher. Thus it cannot destroy man’s disposition from the root up. Man remains, insofar as he attends to this object, in the same disposition. Therefore the abiding with what always is contains the possibility of διαγωγή, the possibility of a pure tarrying, which has nothing of the unrest of seeking. Seeking, for the Greeks, (121) seeks the disclosure of the concealed, of the λανθάνον. Seeking is not yet being in the presence of the unconcealed, whereas the pure tarrying of knowledge, of seeing, of having in view, is an abiding with a being in its unconcealedness. Therefore Aristotle can say of the ancients, insofar as they were genuine philosophers: (...) (Met. I, 3, 983b2f.), “they philosophized about truth.” This does not mean they philosophized about the concept of truth or the like, but rather that they were friends of the truth, they had decided in favor of the pure disclosure of Being in its unconcealedness. Übereinstimmend ist man der Auffassung, daß dem Anwesendsein beim Seienden κατά τήν σοφίαν, dem reinen Betrachten, auch wiederum die reinste Freude entspricht Dieses reine sich Aufhalten-bei, das reine Anwesendsein-bei, ist in sich reinstes Gestimmtsein im weitesten Sinne. Die Reinheit und Festigkeit dieses Gestimmtseins des reinen Betrachtern ist wiederum nur aus dem Thema her, dem Immersem, verständlich. Das Immersein hat gar nicht die Möglichkeit, eine Störung, Änderung, Verwirrung des sich Verhaltens des Menschen als des Forschenden mit sich zu führen, also seine Stimmung von der Wurzel her zu zerstören. Der Mensch bleibt, sofern er. bei der Sache bleibt, in derselben Stimmung. Daher ist im Sich-Aufhalten-beim-Immerseienden die Möglichkeit der διαγωγή gegeben, des reinen Verweilens, das nicht mehr die Unruhe des Suchens an sich hat. Das Suchen ist für die Griechen das Aufdecken des Verborgenen, des λανθάνον. Das Suchen ist das noch-nicht-vor-dem-Unverborgenen-Sein, während das reine Verweilen des Wissendseins, des Sehens, des Im-Blick-Habens, das Sich-Aufhalten beim Seienden in seiner Unverborgenheit ist Daher kann Aristoteles von den Alten sagen, sofern sie echte Philosophen waren: (...) (Met. 1,3; 983b2 sq), »sie philosophierten über die Wahrheit«, d.h. nicht: sie philosophierten über den Wahrheitsbegriff (176) und dergl., sondern: sie waren Freunde, hatten sich entschieden für das reine Aufdecken des Seins in seiner Unverborgenheit.
