===== GA19:174-175 – AÇÃO SEMPRE DIVERSA =====

Esse modo de ser que satisfaz à εὐδαιμονία (felicidade), e συνεχεστάτη (a21), aquilo que mais se mantém coeso em si, o que é mais ininterrupto do que todo o resto. (...) (Podemos considerar ou pensar continuamente de maneira mais fácil do que podemos fazer continuamente alguma coisa extrínseca  –  a21 ss.). De acordo com o nosso ser humano, nós estamos em condições de viver mais ininterruptamente sob o modo da pura contemplação do que sob o modo do agir. Pois a ação é, segundo o seu sentido, sempre diversa segundo as circunstâncias, o tempo, os homens. A constância da ação na extensão de uma determinada conexão vital é incessantemente interrompida por novas intervenções que são exigidas por toda resolução. Em contrapartida, a pura contemplação envolve em si mesma uma insistência homogênea, ininterrupta, que não pode ser diversa segundo o seu sentido. Pois se trata de um manter-se junto ao ente que em si mesmo não pode ser de modo diverso. Enquanto o ente da πρᾶξις (prática) sempre pode ser a cada vez de um modo diverso e exige a cada vez uma resolução no instante, a pura contemplação daquilo que é sempre permanece por assim dizer em um agora duradouro. Esse terceiro momento, ο συνεχέστατο» (ininterrupto), é atribuído ao comportamento que conhecemos como ο θεωρεῖν (a contemplação teórica) da σοφία (sabedoria). [GA19MAC:197-198]

This mode of Being, which satisfies εὐδαιμονία, is συνεχεστάτη (a21), that which most of all coheres in itself, that which is more unbroken than anything else, (...) Our human mode of Being entails that we are able to live more unbrokenly in the mode of pure onlooking than in the mode of acting (a21f.). For action, in its very sense, is in each case different: according to circumstances, time, people. The constancy of acting, in the extension of a determined nexus of life, is continually interrupted by new commitments, each of which requires a decision. On the other Hand, pure onlooking is in itself a uniform unbroken perseverance, which in its very sense cannot be otherwise. For it is an abiding with beings which in themselves cannot be otherwise. Whereas the beings of πρᾶξις can be different in each case and require a decision at every new moment, the pure considering of what is everlasting perseveres, as it were, in an enduring now. This third moment, the συνεχέστατον, is attributed to the comportment we know as the θεωρεῖν of σοφία. [GA19RS:120]
