Por lo tanto, volvemos a preguntar: definitio es ορισμός (horismos), ορισμός es un λόγος (logos), una “ autoexpresión” sobre el estar-ahí como ser. Ορισμός no es una forma de aprehender a través de una determinación aguda, sino que el carácter específico de ορισμός surge en última instancia del hecho de que el ser mismo está determinado en su ser circunscrito por πέρας (peras). Ser significa ser completado.

We therefore inquire back: definitio is ορισμóς, ορισμóς is a λóγος, a “self-expression” about being-there as being. Ορισμóς is Not a way of apprehending through sharp determination, but rather the specific character of ορισμóς ultimately arises from the fact that the being itself is determined in its being as circumscribed by the πέρας. Wir fragen also zurück: definitio ist ὁρισμός, όρισμός ein λόγος, ein »Sichaussprechen« über das Dasein als Sein. ‘Ορισμός ist Nicht eine Bestimmung des scharfen Fassens, sondern am Ende erwächst der spezifische Charakter des ὁρισμός daraus, daß das Seiende Selbst in seinem Sein bestimmt ist als begrenzt durch das πέρας. Sein heißt Fertigsein.
